Seen from the top deck of Liverpool L255 VKB711 at the NWVRT Kirkby running day yesterday were four stored Blackpool trams.

Good view! These are owned by Merseytravel and were bought with the intention of using them on an expanded Wirral Tramway in relation to the Wirral Waters development. Unfortunately due to legal wrangling and budget problems, these vehicles are now in limbo - shame really.

This is great news. Good to see the OMO back at Rigby Road as these trams formed my first memories of Blackpool Trams when I was a child.
