Blackpool Transport are increasing their services back on June 14th.

With the new vehicle deliveries in March, are the Citaros still there or have they been withdrawn? Even if they are needed now, they could have been SORN for a few months.

Thanks for that Metro line. Still no news on when the light rail service will restart though.

I think it's bonkers that they duplicate the tram line with a bus anyway. They know though that the bus has lower staffing costs than the trams which I think must be the determining factor. Surely it's easier to distance on the trams and better for them to run.

The Citaros are still in stock and were not planned to go. The new buses replaced Tridents. 525-33 are relegated to spare vehicles to be used as cover when other buses do rail replacements.
Are 16plate Enviro400 Cities 403 and 404 still earmarked for Warrington?
Thought new 456 to 459 were replacing 401 to 404.

Thank you for this update Paul. Although this is a few months away yet, I am relieved that it should still be possible to ride a Blackpool Citaro.

I was hoping ideally to wait until the tram extension to Blackpool North is complete. I am now prepared that there is the risk of the Citaros being withdrawn by then.
Have the new 20.plates worked anything yet(in fact are the Enviro400s on Depot)?
Blackpool Transport are increasing their buses on July 12th (and reinstating trams on July 19th).

Hopefully the Citaros will be in regular service then, even on Saturdays.
