Atlantean 1836 is the substitute bus, in case of inclement weather conditions.
Tours commence tomorrow at 12:00 from the bus stop on Promenade, next to the carousel outside Silcock's.
wasn't 1551 red at the open day?

It certainly was. But it's nice to change things once in a while, plus it gives us a uniform fleet for the tours.
Kev you just beat me to it haha
AFAIK its the usual 25 route that Arriva ran for many years and MTL' Merseybus and MPTE ran if i remember from last year it goes from Southport Pier over the bridge then along the coastal road to Crossens then works its way through that end of southport to Lord Street then it goes out the other way towards Birkdale(correct me if wrong) then back to southport pier i guess 1449 will do the 1200 and 1400 and 1551 the 1300 as from memory it takes 50 mins a roud tour
Kev I have got the above correct have I not?
Hope this weather gets bettet this morning before the 25 starts
Looks like 1836 will be the order of the day given the weather this morning.
Andy - the tours are 1200, 1330 and 1500, no 1400.
According to iPhone weather we're in for a pleasent afternoon in Southport :-)
So hopefully 2 open toppers here we come!!!
Yer Andy I got the same meant to clear by 1 so a hour of rain wont be to bad should be intresting today
Hope it all goes well. Fingers crossed for the weather.
Extremely successful day, with near full loads carried on every tour. The 15:00 tour had to be ran with both buses due to demand! Thanks to everyone who came for a ride. And don't forget we'll be back next Sunday (and the subsequent three), same times same place
.
Finally, here is a picture of both Atlanteans on Southport Promenade, creating a scene from years gone by:-

Well done to all involved. The buses looked great, the weather was kind & everyone loved it, but some couldn't quite believe it was free. Just what Southport needed & as the summer holidays continue, so may your success.
