Merseyside Transport Trust will be operating a free Heritage Bus Service between Ainsdale Station and Birkdale High School at half hourly intervals for the Birkdale Model Railway show this weekend.
Please note the different timings each day as Merseyrail’s timetable changes on Sunday 29th September.
The times are below
Saturday
Ainsdale Station at 1018 then at 18 & 48 mins past the hour with the last bus being 1618.
Birkdale High School at 1033 then at 33 & 03 mins past the hour with the last bus being 1703
Sunday
Ainsdale Station at 1005 then at 05 & 35 mins past the hour with the last bus being 1605.
Birkdale High School at 1020 then at 20 & 50 mins past the hour with the last bus being 1650

Had A great day yesterday I was guarding 1449 all day not sure if any of you where there and rode on it...Cheers to the allocators at Pacific Road for letting us do some intresting trips in the day I think the passengers enjoyed those trips as well we did:

Saw 1111 outside moorfields station yesterday when going for a train then when I was on the train I caught sight of it again with a load of other MTT atlanteans including newly restored 1162 near to sandhills nice to see them all out and about anyone know what they were doing?

They has been doing a shuttle service for members of the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society between Seacombe & Duke Street between 1200 & 1300 (approx) to board a ferry cruise. L501, L835, 1111, 1162 & 1236 had been used.
