I echo all comments so far. Star of the day for me was 1788 - good performer all round as I had it on the first feeder from Liverpool and then on the 16 back to Seacombe. Also good to see 1032 out today although sadly no 1000 (7000), hopefully maybe anouther time for that one. All in all well done and thanks to all.
Thanks everyone - great day -really appreciate all the efforts to get it organised.
Echo what everyone has said, but special mention for the drivers of the Bristol LH dealing with the 27 route with only millimetres to spare in getting past the parked cars on sections of that route.
1000 wasnt ready intime so 1032 went over instead. both 1032 and 1000 will be at NWVRT Open Day in June
Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone. Luckily the weather remained pleasant for the Easter weekend which made Sunday all the more enjoyable. It was unfortunate that 1000 couldn't supplement 1032 as planned but we are very grateful to John (as we are to the 201 Bus Group for 1, Terry Morris for 1365 and 1788, and Birkenhead Transport Museum for 93) for providing 1032 and hope that 1000 hits the road as soon as possible.
Will 1236 be out and about for the west lancs classic bus day on sat? I was unfortunatley unable to make it to seacombe on easter sunday and would love to get a phot of 1236 in its fantastic new livery.
West Lancs Classic Bus Running day this Saturday 13 April. Routes around the Ormskirk/Burscough area's stopping off at various local pubs.......details on the front page of the MTT website

Superb day yesterday rode on 1236 she looks fantastic in her new livery well done to all involved.
It was a great day out, so many thanks to all involved. Had bumper rides on both 1236 and 1003 around West Lancashire.
1236 does look very nice in its new guise - better than expected - but I do miss the dark green. This is still a fantastic bus which rides remarkably well for its age. Shows up buses many years its junior.
