Latest reports suggest that ant useful parts will be removed from 66734 and then the locomotive will be buried on site!
Three Class 66 built to operate in Europe have been purchased by GBRf for use in the UK. Originally built for a Dutch operator they have not been used. On one of our day trips to Holland on 29 August we noted them in a warehouse complex on the outskirts of Roosendaal.

The three European Class 66 have arrived at Dollands Moor from Holland, and are due to be moved to the MRC at Butterley today.

They arrived at MRC Butterley yesterday.
The new Class 66 at Butterley have been numbered 66747-749.
66739 has been named "The Bluebell Railway".
A further European Class 66 has arrived in the UK and has been taken to EMD Longport for conversion to work in the UK.
It was formerly Crossrail Benelux DE6606 Works Number 20038513-1, and has been re=numbered 66750.
