59003 was this week operating between Tinsley and Bardon Hill Quarry.
Next Sunday's leg of the GBRf megatour is supposed to be a 92 into Lime Street and then 59003 forward, although according to todays re-issue of the Sectional Appendix 92s are prohibited via St. Helens and onkly allowed dragged via Rainhill.

That portion of the train should now be operated by 87002.
Is this the first electric locomotive - hauled train since the electrification?
Almost certainly so.
New bitumen contract to Bedworth and Theale from Immingham starting in December.
