First time I've noted a 92 while driving around there, usually only ever 66s from DB Schenker!
The train was the 1631 Garston to Dagenham empty car wagons. This train is the only DBS hauled freight booked for Class 90 haulage. However more often than not it can have a pair of 90s or a 90/92 combiation. On Tuesday morning it had two 90s with a Euroshed 66038 sandwiched between them. 66038 was on its way from France to Toton for repairs.
Currently at Arpley for coal duties are 60010/11/74/79.
Newly overhauled 60062 is to be named "Stainless Pioneer at Tinsley tomorrow,
Newly overhauled 60062 is allocated to work 6M12 Tinsley to Seaforth steel tonight so for those intersted should be laying over in Tuebrook Sidings, Edge Hill tomorrow morning.
Fiddlers Ferry Power Station has re-opened after its summer shutdown. I am not sure when LBT-FFPS coal trains are due to restart but 60039 and 60074 have arrived at Warrington Arpley for these duties.
D B Schencker have lost many engineers train turns to GBRf and DRS.
DBS have put 20 Class 60 locomotives up for sale. These are
60002/13/21/26/28/29/33/38/41/46/47/48/55/56/61/76/85/87/95/96.
There are some surprises in the list as it includes all the locos stored in Crewe Diesel Depot, 60096 stored at St Blazey and 60033 and 60087 which had been touted for a return to service.
The clearing of Crewe Diesel Depot lends weight to the rumours of a takeover by GBRf.

Crewe Diesel Depot being located where it is a very useful asset to anybody , being just outside Crewe Station.
Im also very surprised as until recently there was talk of more Class 60 overhauls taking place on top of the 20 that were slated for the Super Overhaul.
60100 has been out on a test run from Toton to Leicester.
92024 has returned to service after being stored since 2008. A number are being re-instated as a result of the forthcoming hire to DRS.
92029 is currently at Carlisle as the DRS trainer. The previous trainer 92015 has returned to normal service. This would never have been one of the locos hired to DRS as it is fitted for working on HS1.
Courtesy of WNXX the first intermodal operated out of London Gateway last Tuesday. Although not due to open until November the MV Zim Rotterdam was diverted after an onboard fire necessitated repairs. The intermodal was hauled by 66001 as 4M83 to Trafford Park.
