Nothing new for numbers to be up at this time of year, it always happens to allow 66s to be released for RHTT season.
Never said it was a new thing, But it does give people the chance to photo more of the batch than you normally can.

True but a fair few will be limited use so would be lucky not having to go out the way for them.
Just been made aware of this post on Facebook regarding the Seaforth - Mossend:

*Regards to Peel Ports/ DB Cargo Intermodal services 4S35/4M35
Increasing to 26 wagons from Monday 17th ,as a load of new customers have signed up for this service.*
66023 is now on the Seaforth - Mossend
This has gone unreported on here, It involved 66230 which has a completely burnt out cab at one end. Thoughts go to the families of those involved.

I personally look forward to the RAIB investigation as this sort of thing should never happen in an active yard.

I notice 66230 (Along with 66084 and 66109) moved from Dollands Moor Sidings to Scunthorpe Redbourne, Assuming this is for the RAIB Investigation you mention?

66230 was presumably detached at Doncaster for forwarding onto Toton.

RAIB will be carrying out an investigation on site as traffic continues to flow in and out of Dollands Moor.
66129 was noted passing St Helens Junction this morning on its way to Seaforth to work 4S35 to Mossend.
66175 is now on the Seaforth to Mossend Duty
