I wondered where it had got to as actually owned by Cheshire cc then Cheshire East BC, only operated by Bowers. It then disappeared when GHA took over the contract for the 19 last month.

Was also operated by Arriva for Macclesfield-Stockport services a few years back.
TP timetable will change from 18 November with the Derby-Nottingham section of route withdrawn.

There are many fast and slow buses between Derby and Nottingham already, and maybe High Peak no longer wish to compete with their predecessors Trent Barton on that section of route.
The route was the same as Red Arrow anyway, plus that section of route is prone to problems due to it crossing the M1, so in the event of a problem the whole route becomes a nightmare for timekeeping! There may be some form of through-fare connection.
The 27 (Macclesfield-Knutsford) is now 100% commercial and has seen a reduction in frequency. The Cheshire East BC VDL SB120/Wright Cadets have gone, and the service is in the hands of Optare Solos.
By gone do you mean left the company, if so where have they gone?

They actually belonged to Cheshire East Council. not High Peak, and were originally purchased with a rural development grant for the 27 (Originally operated by Bakerbus of Knypersley).

However, at least one has now been reported just today on another e-group as being in use with High Peak on a schools run in Glossop.
Had a feeling that might be the case regarding ownership.
An uto date fleetlist can be seen on my website here http://northwestbus.site11.com/Bowers%20Coaches.Html

One of the same batch is also a regular performer on the 394 in Glossop.
