A quick scour of the net makes me question it too! It was very dirty and on a night time trip (either the last or first journey of the day) but I’m sure it had some sort of centrebus vinyl (or remnants of) toward the back.
Considering how many Citaroes High Peak have probably got now, whats the likelyhood of them appearing on other big bus routes apart from Skyline 199? I know a couple have seen useage on TP (Transpeak) but could any of them appear on any other of Highpeaks routes say 61 Glossop-Buxton service?

Id say quite possible. Apparently there are 6 ex yourbus citaros due in total. 4 in skyline and 2 in high peak/centrebus livery. Which takes the total to 10.
I haven't been in the right place at the right time to see route 199 for a couple of weeks or so. However, before then it had habitually used a TransPeak Enviro200 and a Solo SR rather than the recently acquired Citaros.
The following comes up a result in a 15/5/2020 search on VOSA:

Route: Buxton (Market Place) to Manchester Airport (Bus Station) via Chapel - En - Le - Frith

Maybe these will become more common again as, all things considered, life is gradually trickling back to normal.

This week still had a mix of citaro, transpeak enviros and solos.

I don't really think it could be said things will "go back to normal" to be honest

In the sense of buses, service levels and allocations then it will.
