Centrebus has recently closed their Stevenage Depot, this has released some vehicles to be able to move around the other depots

Top stuff, it'll mean high peak can get rid of some of their older solos. 296 was playing up yesterday (tuesday) with a leaking radiator causing it to overheat.

Although it's a 14 plate so only 7 years old it's struggling, but that's hardly surprising when you consider how tough some of the routes in the peak district are especially the 442 which goes up massive hills.

Trent Barton are part of Wellglade Group and not part of Centrebus, High Peak is a venture owned 50/50 by Centrebus and Trent Barton. It started using the Centrebus owned Bowers Coaches of Chapel-en-le-Frith and the Buxton operations of Trent Buses.

Day to day running is more centre bus than TB though. TB seem like the silent partner.
Anyone know which is the other solo that's recently turned up with high peak?

Saw it at macc today, it's an 05 plate solo.

It's 249 and is an 06 plate, it's regularly on the 19s currently. It tracks as 781 though on bustimes.
