I wonder whether a current TP vehicle is out of service or has been cascaded away? It's just that on Thursday I saw a Skyline Scania Solar on the TP service.

Anybody know have high peak just got the new solos now? Think they've virtually got rid of all their older examples apart from a couple that are still hanging around.

Still in service are 265 (YN03ZXA) which is an M920, 290/1 (YJ11EJO/U) which are M880, and 352/78/80 (MX05EKT, YJ06FXP, and MX08DGE) which are M850.
236 (YJ07EFZ), an M710, is still in stock, but withdrawn.

Surprised 265 is still with us, must be on the brink on getting withdrawn I think as most companies withdraw vehicles off at about the 15yr age.
270 (YN04 LWU) & 269 (MX04 VLV) were both around earlier this year but will be withdrawn by now. The solars if memory serves right are 05 plates so should still have a few years left in em. A few have been repainted out of their skyline liveries & into standard high peak colours plus had the interiors scrubbed up a bit too.

The Scania-Solars are in fact 04-reg. Of these 690 & 693 were refurbished and painted into CentreBus livery, but the rest to Skyline livery.

Most journeys on the 65 between Buxton and Sheffield will be replaced by Stagecoach in Chesterfield from next Sunday (22 July), with the Monday-Saturday service extended to Meadowhall. High Peak will run two return journeys with a slightly different route.

If I remember correctly, Stagecoach have run this service in the past.

I'm sure it currently has modern Versas. I saw one on route 199 yesterday and therefore wonder whether route 65 Versas will part upgrade route 199?

Solo 270 was in Leicester this afternoon. It COULD be a transfer, but it had no vinyls or fleet number.
