I would assume so as St Helens as of yet has no plans for electric charging points to be installed
Sad to confirm that the body shop at St Helens will close permanently from 31st Dec. So no more re-paints or accident damage repairs will be carried out. All the space will be used now as extra engineering pits in readiness for the arrival of franchising in September. A big thank you to all bodyshop staff for your work over the years.
Without sounding controversial, even though the companies that bid know the result before it goes public, do you think that is down to the winning bidder for the St Helens?
That's a crying shame it's closing.

I wonder what the last vehicles in the body shop will be?

Bodyshop is now empty so nothing im afraid
Quite surprised to see 4603 on the 360 yesterday, so i ended up catching it, it must been decades since i caught a decker on that route, maybe going back to GM Buses era.
Happens quite regularly to be honest usually if something has broken down during the day or there's been some extremely late running on 329, make the most of it as when franchising starts you probably won't see deckers on there anymore.

You won’t see Deckers at all as Runcorn can’t have them.

Runcorn can have deckers, they used to have deckers when Crosville ran the depot, Runcorn don't get deckers because of the low bridges on the busway, although i think most of them have been demolished as they were pedestrian footbridges, but there's one near Halton Lea that can't be demolished as that's a link road to Central Expressway.
There was talk of Runcorn getting deckers for the X30 a few years ago but it never happened.
