Does anyone know what would the timetable, from December 2017, look like for TransPennine Express at Liverpool Lime Street ?

Judging from the fact that Manchester Airport Northern services are still via the Chat, TPE services are unchanged.

Just an update on the new liveried 185s, they're now coming along nicely and at least the following 14 have been done; 185104/08/14/15/23/27/28/31/35/38/39/40/44/50.

RE: TransPennine Express
I was reading an article about the Class 185 units just before Christmas , the article was saying that as three car units all powered there a bit on the over-powered side.

The DfT said no to a trailer car being built to make them all into four car units a while back which would have got power to weight back to normal i think.

They're "over powered" because of the terrain on the routes they operate on. They wouldn't have that much power if they didn't need it

Over-powered , have you been on one of these units when the eco-system for the train drops an engine so it only runs on 2 of the 3 engines , the system picks at random which engine to turn off.

I suspect there was a misunderstanding by Siemens of what was meant by trains with good climbing ability. Possibly they thought of railways on the nearby Bavarian Alps when they were designing them?

I have and I use them on a regular basis so I know how the engine system works - but you were the one that posted about an article saying they were apparently "over powered"
