This qoute also mentions longer turnrounds at Manchester Airport implying that arrivals from Newcastle will form Middlesbrough trains and v.v.. ; This might be OK now but how will it work with mk.5 sets and IEPs - I seem to recall seeing something about consideration being given to keeping the mk.5s on Liverpool workings and presumably that would mean the Airport-Newcastle.s becoming IEPs and going to Edinburgh in due course? |

December times now in Real Time Trains - 3 sets shown off Longsight presumably planned for mk.5s, although shown dmu. If so rather surprisingly includes 02.42 Piccadilly-York via Salford Crescent and Hebden Bridge and an ECS reversing at Ashburys. |

Both will go via Manchester Victoria, which will still be served by Liverpool - Leeds - Newcastle / Scarborough services. |
