That's point proven is it? I don't believe that for a second, 10.7m darts used to run those routes without any issues a few years ago. Have the roads got narrower? I can't imagine the roads of Penycae and Llay are any busier either. Change of tune from you LJ51, you previously complained that caego didn't use spare Marshall's in the yard on locals , and went as far as to argue that there were no problems using full size buses even on the brymbp routes, so you know there are capacity issues. can't think of any part of either route that would be too challenging for a 10.7m bus, even without any 'wizardry'.

Well yeah quite frankly considering the Cadet the missed half of the route, yes they did but over the years there has been a lot more cars on Britains roads so that means more parked cars doesn't it, well no im just saying you make it sound like you can do it all so why dont you? i wouldn't take a 10.7M Dart round Llay and Pen-Y-Cae these days, hence why over the years Wrexham has become MPD heaven. i have never said you can use a 10.7M Vehicle on Brymbo it has been done and it is my local route and i know you actually cant use a 10.7M vehicle on the 12/13 last time a SLF did the 12 it took a wall down.

The thing is the Arriva order book probably has only a certain amount of each vehicle type and then its a case of building a business case around what is then available

866 has been dead at the back fence with 865 since the spring, it was still there on a check a few weeks ago, are they planning to put it back into a serviceable state? Most examples along there have parts robbed with the exception of perhaps 832. Infact a full list that could be seen:

823, 824 (X94 Abermaw in flipdot!), 832, 851, 863 (rear end fire damage), 865, 866, 2560, 2562, 7542.
