RE: HTL Buses
First report of an Alero on a normal service I've heard of for some time, they are usually confined to Merseylink only!

The same Alero operated the 883 way back in August, does seem to creep onto service work every blue moon!

Another odd working noted before (as ever when driving however so no photo), Mercedes Sprinter/Mellor MX05 SMO is on the 258 (Huyton - Stockbridge Village Circular) today!

RE: HTL Buses
A few workings noted of late (not been on so much the last few days so this covers a few days!)

On Monday Optare Alero YJ56 ARZ was on an afternoon 883 (Huyton Industrial Estate - Liverpool John Lennon Airport), while yesterday Mercedes Sprinter/Mellor MX05 SMO was on the 883.

Last night on the 196 (Prescot - St Helens) and 147 (St Helens - St Helens Junction) were ADL Dart MPD SN06 BMV and Solo W601 PTO, however the Solo was later swapped for a newer 11 reg one.

RE: HTL Buses
I noticed the solo on the 196 last night. It was not displaying anything on its blinds, it just had a extremely small destination in the bottom right hand corner of the windscreen! i

RE: HTL Buses
That was W601 PTO - Not sure why the usual two Solos weren't on but I think that only did one run on the 196 before being replaced with the other Solo that had full LEDs!

YJ56 ARZ is the Alero, saw this before myself! Wouldn't mind a ride in this (a drive would be nicer though!), not been in an Alero in absolutely ages!

RE: HTL Buses
The reason it has been off the road a while is apparently its gearbox required work. Worth getting your rides in soon (supposing it stays on 883 for now) as the new Mercedes minibuses are due late December after which is may return to being used soley on Merseylink!
