Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan

This is highly unlikely as Wigan is in Greater Manchester and therefore subject to decisions made by TfGM. In light of Andy Burnham's decision to look at franchising within his domain it would not make sense for two companies within the same company to compete against each other, should franchising ever happen.

I dont think that would happen as it just mean more people having to suck up to TFGM

I get the 0733 journey every morning to Manchester and every single one has been a hybrid for a month now.

74 evening, weekend and bank holiday journeys are being withdrawn and being replaced with extra 76 journeys, which I assume means they won’t terminate at Day Drive on Lord Lane anymore.

74 daytime is unaffected however. It’s about time we got better than 1 an hour.

Apologies if I have missed this elsewhere, but the rebuilt Wigan Bus Station is due to open on 28 October 2018, according to leaflets in Leigh & Bolton bus stations.

Yeah it opens on the 28th , supposedly a lot earlier than planned.

Ah no increase in frequency either, will the new journeys go into Amos avenue, Woodhouses and Chamber Road?

No, buses will run along the normal 76 route, so buses will run along Briscoe Lane instead of Amos Avenue and via Hollins Road and Copster Hill Road instead of Heron Street and Chamber Road (Chamber Road still served by the 49). Woodhouses and Hollinwood won't be served with buses running via Roman Road and Lime Green Road in Limeside will also lose its Monday-Saturday evening service.
