It’s a shame you can’t really run an express service now without running the risk of it becoming unsustainable. Then it’s either a case of scrapping the service or adding stops to generate extra income, therefore losing its express nature.

Bringing the 500 back in the current climate was quite possibly one of the most ridiculous decisions ever.

Service is now operated on behalf of Merseytravel by Selwyns.
Arriva pre-paid tickets will be accepted.
Times are unchanged.

RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot
One of the Gemini 3 hybrids broke down on Saturday morning at the junction of Hillfoot road Mackets Lane and Higher road right in the middle of the junction. it was out of service and had come down Hillfoot road from the direction of the depot so must have been heading into Halewood to start a journey. Was there for a while before being recovered.

Anyone reckon there’s a chance of the hybrids getting P&P in the future? As Runcorn’s gas buses were in a similar livery before they got new liveries.

I'd like to think so but Green Lane and Speke don't seem to be at the top of the P&P list

I noticed one Arriva Yorkshire Hybrid Gemini that's gone into normal standard livery.

Yeah I’ve noticed that, all I’ve seen is a handful of DB300s and cadets/commanders so far
