Ppeople like them don't go and they won't. One of their best friends bought nuttalls coaches so they've already got another licence ready for use. |

Wasn't that the reason for PI in the first place to establish the connection between Classic bus north west and Catch 22/Oakwood travel/Nuttals? It's a similar story with RJ's of Wem. The TC has set out to establish what link there is between the two companies and GHA. The directors of GHA have been banned from being involved with a bus company so any connection is likely to result in the licences being revoked. |

RE: Oakwood Travel (Classic Bus North West)
A post on a Facebook page suggests the director has acquired yet another licence and will trade under the name 'red rocket'. Clearly if it's true then using a name already associated with the exsisting set up will rouse no suspicion with VOSA and the TC and they will think it's a completly new company with absolutely no link to catch 22/classic bus etc lol. |

I seem to recall he applied for a licence as Red Rocket some time ago. When the service was running under "express service" conditions I waited a considerable time for one at Preston before giving up. |

The red rocket was just the name of the service between blackpool and Manchester last Christmas and tge year before using the artics, they have never actually traded under that name before - infact last year they exploited a loophole and didn't even register the service with VOSA hence why it was so unreliable. |

PC1122529 in the name of Red Rocket was included as a new application at the original PI in 2014, and he then attempted to register it again in 2015, but bailed out before the PI. |

Question is, is it clever business tactics having new business identitys/licences 'just in case' or is it dodgy as hell? There certainly determined. |

Looks like he's appealing this decision too. Thought this was the end of the process, surely you can't keep appealling until you win. http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/our-re...-1-8265116 |
