RE: Oakwood Travel (Classic Bus North West)
I really thought they was past this.. If i remember correctly they was going to get their Licence revoked at the start of the year but managed to avoid it. EDIT: Was a bit longer ago than i thought but their licence was down to get revoked Summer 2015 but never did http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/news/t...-1-7373323 For Blog Posts Containing all the latest in the local Bus Scene The 2002 Bus Blog Subscribe to my Youtube Channel, Updated regularly! I always thought there was meant to be an inquirey into the connection between Catch 22 or Oakwood travel and the previous company Classic bus North west. They appealed it claiming the TC had something against them so the outcome was it would be reviewed by another TC. |

Thats what: schedule 3 -consideration of transport managers repute. -continuance of appeal against any decision of a traffic commissioner. Section 28 power to disqualify psv operator Section 26 conditions attached to licence -ranges from failure to operate services What are registered , maintenance issues etc. Section 155 penalties. |

Very true but the fact they claim to have invested £150,000 in order to acquire them would suggest they may have been purchased as apposed to leased. £150 or so grand seems just about right for them. What I mean is £150,000 spent on a lease wouldn't make much sense when you could buy these or similar vehicles for the same price. |

With the P.I pending and being at the courts in london it looks like traffic commissioners office is trying to finish them up once and for all even though personally i thought they had started doing a pretty decent job recently. |
