Boltons Hybrid Geminis did when they first arrived, the amount that went to Thomas Hardie within the first 12 Months was a joke For Blog Posts Containing all the latest in the local Bus Scene The 2002 Bus Blog Subscribe to my Youtube Channel, Updated regularly! With the exception of the B5LHs in 2013, no standard deckers were ordered for operations outside of London until last year - by which time Wrightbus and VDL had announced the ceasing of construction of the DB300/Gemini and the SB200/Pulsar. Hence the order for Enviro400s. If the Geminis had been so riddled with faults, why did Arriva keep purchasing them for London? True true, just our batch of 4489/90/91 have given us numerous probs/faults & their only 4yrs old! Its a joke we shouldve had the enviro 400s like stagecoach use on the #192 route. They're of a much higher build quality & also seem to perform better too I.E can accelerate quicker etc. The ex soulthport volvo B7s by comparison are a charm, plenty of drivers I've chatted to personally like em. Yh they all need engine repairs but as copey's mentioned previous they're at that stage in life now where its inevitable after the miles they've already racked up. |

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
Can anyone (Copey ?) confirm that Winsford used a sapphire dekker on the 84 yesterday or have any of the other dekkers been fitted with rear LED destinations ? Reason I ask is that as I was heading past the Barony playing fields into Nantwich yesterday afternoon I saw a dekker turning right at the traffic lights towards Crewe and it had a full rear destination panel, it showed 84 & a destination but I was too far away to read what it said, the paintwork also looked darker than normal too.
