Wonders whether its the job that all the St helens drivers love to hate now the single decker turn , when everybody else has the nice shiny double deckers.

a lot drivers wish it was the single decker board they where on as a lot don't like the deckers as they say they are under powered when first putting your foot on the throttle to pull away.

I'm fairly certain I read that Speke and Southport drivers initially had the same complaint until their examples were opened up after a certain time period/mileage. Hopefully it'll be the same with St Helens' batch.

They have been on the computer to re do the gear ratio etc but some are still a bit slow off the mark but i think there great a lot better than the pulsars.

A mate of mine last week/Early this week was told to take a Bus from the Depot on his 10A lates, There was an Enviro 400 parked up but he still decided to take a Pulsar as he thinks they are better quality then the Enviros, Since the trip i was on got a Standing load out of Queen Square i think the point was proven that Deckers where brought in for a reason

Arriva and Stagecoach both use the low-height version. First use the full-height.

2968 sounds like its about to keel over and die sometime soon. Very bad droning noise coming from the back (presumably the diff) and lots of shaking, rattling and rolling to go with it.
