I mentioned on the Chester thread earlier about Gillmoss possibly getting new deckers. I think this has been confirmed today and the Stagecoach Twitter page with them saying that Gillmoss deckers are going to be replaced this year. |

If this is the tweet you are referring to, it certainly suggests that cascades are the order of the day rather than new vehicles. |

Indeed, the reference to renew rather than replace suggests it could just be more modern double-deckers. Route 125 at Chorley has been touted for some new Scania double-deckers, so some of the current ones could come to GM? It will be a pity in a way if GM loses these ex-London Tridents. I associate GM with ex-London buses after its Metrobuses and Titans! |
