Last I heard on the Single Deckers was it was supposed to be the new 12 reg's from Stockport that were going. That was a little while ago though so things have probably changed again since then.

It is only some of Ashton's that are going, according to the list I've seen.

Another couple of reserves now in use. 22131 at Hyde Road, 22149 at Stockport.
Quite a few Stockport 08 reg double deckers have moved to Hyde Road as well.
Bar the 192 and 23A just about all Stockport routes are now single decker, with MAN's now seeing regular service.
The 347 is almost totally double decker now as the Enviro300's start to disappear, and I've also seen Hyde Road 08's on the 216, presumably helping out with double deckers going on to the 347.

Tridents will also be centred on specific services, with the double deck 15s likely to see MANs on them.

2 walkergate enviros arrived last night, one being 19199....forgot other number
Once they've had an inspection they are good to roll, same ticket machines up there so its a simple fit
