17578 is the Magic bus Trident currently being used at Middleton.

Quoted elsewhere as 17578 but 17504 was also operating out of Middleton last week. Replacement or they are both allocated to Mid I don't know.

Interesting. 17578 has been quoted elsewhere as being troublesome hence the amount if time it's spent over the pits at daw bank - rather apt that it allegedly replaced the unreliable red B7, and even more interesting is that despite reports that the red B7 had been withdrawn completly it has been out in service this week.

Latterly 17578 was in Ashton, moved around the yard and workshop but don't think it went into service at all.

Thanks for posting that - interesting to see that at least one of the ex-Bluebird vehicles has made the one way trip as well.

Passed Middleton deport on Sunday, apart from a couple of vehicles parked in front of the workshops, eveything else was parked on the yard at Mantra. There was some construction equipment visible at the back of the yard, so it looks as though resurfacing work has begun.

The only one I know for sure is 22146, but all except 22147 are in reserve now.
