Oops sorry. I got the name wrong. It's Birley Fields, not Birchfields.
It was early in the morning when I wrote it, so hadn't quite woke up. LOL

It was in the top garage at Stockport late morning today.

Yes 27598 is still based at Middleton. Last seen by me last Saturday on the 77.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Trident 17612 seen heading back to Ashton depot with a red lettered registration on the dash,
Also with what looks to be a convoy of 4 Enviro400s heading the other direction, all definitely 56 plates

Blimey 17612 has finally returned. Driven on trade plates as well. Hope it's back out in service soon.

Which way were the Enviro400's going Benzo? It's been reported elsewhere that the cascades have been suspended and that a number of Stagecoach vehicles will be doing tram replacement work in Sheffield - although I don't know how accurate this info is it would explain why some of the Enviro400's due to be cascaded are still here and in service!

Never knew what the red fonted plates were for.
They were heading towards park parade, maybe Hyde Rd depot for storage

What fleet number is the Weatherfield Wayfarer bus? I am sure I saw it today heading down Rochdale Road.

Do ITV just ring Ashton depot up and ask to borrow the bus for the day?
