RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Stagecoach Manchester are out today doing rail replacement services between Rochdale and Manchester Victoria, vehicles I've seen so far are 2x Enviro 400 and 2x ALX300 MAN, I was also told a couple of weeks ago that they might be doing the Stalybridge-Manchester Victoria services as well

AZ 19164 broken down on top of Roe cross.
Believed that some Hyde rd Enviro400s have replaced some Ashton 56 reg Enviro400s or could be loans.

I was in Stockport bus station for about 1/2 hour last Sunday. Most if not all Stagecoach buses there were double-deck, including one on route 317. I think they put out as many double-decks as possible to try to prevent overcrowding with Christmas shoppers.

Also, having seen Enviro200 37036 and 37037 indicate just how many Enviro200s Stagecoach UK must have by now.

Perhaps ST are taking a leaf out of AZs book where virtually all Sunday workings are worked by Enviro400's. Its very rare to see an AZ single decker out at all except on the tendered 202.

Rumour from my reliable yet unreliable source saying that the x-regs are going to be departing us in the second or third quarter of 2014 I'm posting it here to see what you guys think of it, as I think it seems plausible but not true ^_^

S,T and V regs to go first. Out of anything I'd say the X regs have the best chance of staying!

All double deckers today on routes[like 313 and 378] which normally have much smaller buses on[ on Sundays].

Some of the 's' reg's in operation at the moment sound far better than many of the 'X' s
