Aren't there any other older L94's that have survived to preservation?

Yes it seems 37451 is Oldham's choice for the heritage livery, First's policy is to choose an early Olympia repaint. Also 66869 and 66891 have been exchanged between OM and BN 66891 was due QS but is now a Bolton Bus, with 66869 transferring to OM depot in exchange

More than likely that 66869 will also be painted in a heritage livery so that OM has one decker and one single as BN has.

37290 - QS Salford CT
37297 - BY Bury CT
37430 - BN LUT
37451 - OM ??
66869 - OM ??
69139 - BN Bolton CT

You're right but not sure what the two OM ones will come out as. Maybe Oldham & a Rochdale or even an Ashton one. Or maybe Ashton will get their own. Suppose we'll know by the end of the week.

RE: First Manchester
Caught a glimpse of 37290 in Manchester this afternoon on the 18. Was very striking.

Here's are a couple of photos from Flickr of the finished article (credit to photographer):

RE: First Manchester
It was actually Dart 40431 which was on 415 at the time from what I got told from a reliable source, I know Oldham want to get rid of the Darts but this isn't the way to go about it, be interesting to see if anything replaces it as I know Oldham seem to be struggling at the moment as quite regularly at the moment Darts or even Geminis are substituting Solos on Rochdale Routes, and 12 Middleton Circular regularly seems to get Darts or Enviro 300s on it.

If anything does replace 40431 I'm guessing it will be one of the remaining Plaxton SLFs from Pionner Depot, if not I do know there's a couple of Streetlites at Bolton Depot and I'm sure with a quick driver familirisation program one or more (as a spare) could be drafted in as a short term measure
