No idea. If you actually read the other posts you'd find out why.
And that is good, more time for us bus spotters to photograph them.

No clue. Although, with extra buses due to be added to the 36 shortly, the first 4 may arrive given the increased PVR that will result.

RE: Stagecoach North East
They'll still transfer eventually, just going to be heavilly delayed while other arrangements are sorted out first. Hull getting the Enviro400's then transferring Trident's to Stockton isn't a priority, so for now it's a case of it'll happen when it happens.
I believe extra allocations on 36 on paper will be reserve MAN ALX300's, may not be true though.

He's stated they are still coming but just not yet. Earlist I can see them arriving now is during the Six Week School Holidays.

they'll come, just will take a while like stated before, and if they were not they would look for alternatives, since it looks like the only new buses coming is Sunderland's then the ALX400's should come this year - a quick repaint and possible refurbishment then they'll look brand new to the common commuter.

And on another subject with the 36's, they should just be ALX300 opearted, since thats what is usually on there anyway !!!

Of the Tridents, I understand 17025/6/8 have been repainted in Hull (which will mean minor alterations to match the NE standard) the rest will need repainting. As they will mainly be for schools, the interior doesn't really matter straight away.

As for the 36, ALX300s are the main back-up to the Enviro300s. What the main problem is, the engines in the Enviro300s are too small for their size. We all know about the problems between MAN and Stagecoach, so hopefully we may get to a point where they are re-engined with Cummins engines as one of the East Lancs-bodied example has.

Why can't you wait? The tridents are crap, characterless buses, unlike the Olympians full of character, reliable and just overall great buses.

I realised about the interior after writing and lets hope that the Enviro300's do get better engines!
