Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
RE: Stagecoach Manchester
mbonwick, under the Stagecoach Wirral/Chester thread you wrote...
"So I suggest that if you still want decent information, rather than rumour, that you stop slagging me off at every opportunity. Put yourself in my shoes - I get very little thanks for what I do on this forum, and it's very annoying to see people willfully ignoring my posts as well"

Perhaps you'd like to practice what you preach, when replying to my comments in this thread. I'm only trying to provide some useful information to the forum regarding some former Manchester buses, using my detailed knowledge of operations up here in Fife.

However if you'd rather I just disappeared, and left you to your wild speculation and rumour, I'll be happy to oblige!

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Do not confuse my disagreeing with you with personally slagging you off as other members have done to me.
What we have is a disagreement (although actually I'd say more a misunderstanding)

The information you're providing is interesting and useful. In fact I'd suggest you start a thread for Fife, its clear you have much more stuff to say, which is good.

However, I wouldn't go so far as to say my speculation is "wild" - its based on a logical thought process which has been proved right before. And I've not repeated any rumours with regard to Fife as I haven't heard any.

It's here for trials against the Euro5 engined examples in a view to order some next year. It's here for 6-12 months for use on all Newcastle decker routes.

Manchester only had it on loan, i think Stagecoach/ADL Have a similer agreement to First/Volvo Did over FJ08FYN,Meaning its loan bus with stranded interior what will move around various parts of Stagecoach & will eventually go back to ADL To be sold on,unless stagecoach fully buy it when the agreement is up

What happens if it's no good? Will you have to skip a generation and go to Euro 7 when it comes out? LOL
