Merseytravel Timetable Changes
RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
4 weeks seems a bit long just to resurface the roads in Birkenhead Bus Station.
Leaflet gives locations of temporary stops that will be used.

Nuts - particularly as some pages such as the route map are still in the old style. Looks awful.

The 329 finally gets a full route map! Interesting to see it serves Bank Quay station as well, looking at the times though surely they can't be right? Ten minutes between the bus station and Bank Quay?

Oh yeah!
And some peak runnings are even given 15 minutes to go between Bank Quay and the Interchange!

May just be to make up time from being delayed elsewhere ie Winwick Road is a pinch point.

The thing is, though, two minutes' slack is timetabled at the Interchange.
If they really meant say twelve minutes' slack, surely they'd just put that on the timetable.
Also, on journeys towards Daresbury, there's no real scope for waiting at the Bank Quay stop, especially for the 10-or-so minute gap in the timetable.

RE: Merseytravel Timetable Changes
Valid from 11th March 2013:

883 (Huyton Industrial Estate - Liverpool John Lennon Airport)
Buses are rerouted to run along the full length of Woodend Avenue, so no longer serve Shaw Road or Gaskill Road.
Some daytime buses are rerouted in Huyton to run via Ellis Ashton Street.
(The times are unchanged.)

For the first time too, route 883 now has a proper route map in the timetable, however they two pages are in reverse order almost but still, better than no map at all!

Haha, I like that: "Map continues on the next previous page."
