Which depot runs the 540 these days? I know it has switched between Bolton and Wigan depots in the past. Also, which depot runs the 516/584 Sunday daytime service?

I live near route 22 and see as many Enviro400s as B7RLEs these days. I have not seen a B9TL on it recently and wonder whether Bolton has lost B9TLs now? Also, could a mini-reshuffle of routes or vehicles be on the cards before Wigan enters Stagecoach's Christmas stocking?

Bolton definitely still has B9TLs, I saw loads of them in Bolton when I was there the other day! :P

Thanks for letting me know Thomas. I admit I feel it would be tidier for Bolton and Oldham to lose their B9TLs now they have modern Enviro400s.

Seen several odd allocations on Oldham services being
B7RLE 69204 - 409
B7RLE 66920 - 408
B9 36280 - 409 and 182

and 37289 is back with First Manchester as it was seen on the 17

A majority of Bolton's B9's have transferred over to Bury as they have gone full D/D on the 163 and 471

I had heard about them on route 471 but not 163. I have not been to Manchester much recently so shall watch out for that route then.

I very much doubt anything will happen now routes and vehicles wise before the takeover as Stagecoach have bought the lot so whatever Wigan Depot operates now is what Stagecoach will operate when they take over, one thing I have heard recently though from various sources is that apparantly Stagecoach have got enough vehicles in reserve round the country that they could bring back into service to replace some if or not all of the elderly Wigan Depot fleet

Read somewhere that 37289 was on the 100 earlier this week, so it's definitely back (along with 37288) at Queens Road following its prolonged stint at Huddersfield.
