RE: Halton Transport
Went out to get photos of the 64 and 48 through Penketh this morning.
But, waiting in Stocks Lane, it didn't come past.
Maybe it just goes past the Sankey end of Stocks Lane and doesn't actually go down it. Anyone know?

Should have gone for a shot of the 47 instead!

I did however see the 47 in the evening, and can report that it was served by dart 21, with just a number showing and otherwise blank destination.

I have to say that I really wish Halton did a service through Penketh (such as linking up the 62 to create a full circle).
I rarely travel with Halton just because I have to pay for an Arriva or a Warrington bus before I can purchase one of their day tickets.

They don't wish to upset Arriva or Network Warrington, Halton generally fills in the gaps that Arriva deem unprofitable to run!

It does go down Stocks Lane (usually late)

Thats how they usually are Smile you can set the number without the blind, If a bus does show a blinds its usually something silly like "45 Huyton" or "44 Whiston Hospital".
Yesterday however an enviro 200 was on the evening 48 showing "Halton Transport" as the pre-set destination for the 48 was unable to be displayed.

RE: Halton Transport
Bus 20 was on the 2, and 74 worked the morning 38 service which works onto the 14/A which in turn works onto a college service, possibly the 41. 71 worked a schools service out of the depot.
On another note, buses seem to be turning up in the morning now! Sometimes slightly late, but better late than never though!

71 was on the 696, didn't look too bad considering it's age. I'm sure that 696 works off and onto the 61, could be wrong though!

RE: Halton Transport
Seen it coming out of Caldwell Road, it must have been about twenty to three or slightly later, so unless it worked off the 61 onto schools via the depot. I cant say you're right or you're wrong though mate, Id be lying if i said I seen it come out of the bus park after being parked there all day to work the school service! :-)

RE: Halton Transport
Oh the one I saw it on was the morning one at about 8:00 off Page Moss. I'm sure that does a 61 short to Prescot then runs dead to Page Moss, I remember seeing it when I used to get the 10 and sometimes they'd still have 61 displayed.
