Yes, I'd expect the Pulsars to be 3213 upwards, following on from the ex Midlands one at Wrexham....the Enviro400's in the 4*** somewhere (maybe following after the Streetdecks????? Maybe 4397-9 would have been better for the Enviros? Same as numbering the Evoras in with the Pulsars, plenty of scope to have a new batch of fleetnumbers for them and fit the Pulsars in the gaps or carry on 32xx. All too easy isn’t it. |

The bread vans should of been 10xx but as the Cities were to be flagship vehicles they allocated them the 10xx series so the Mellors just took the vacant 47xx instead. It's not all too easy to allocate fleet numbers just to make the series look pretty they have to fit in all the internal and external systems etc. |

RE: 2023 Cascade
At some point if they are going to use 4 digit numbers there will have to be a reuse of number unless they go to 5 digit or even 6 digit numbers. |

RE: 2023 Cascade
To my recollection the last time a fleet number was re-used was around 2011 when the 31** Pulsars took on the same fleet numbers of the 31** Leyland Olympians that were withdrawn 3 years prior in 2008. I’d still argue though that for the 3x incoming Enviro 400 arrivals the 439* series would be a less ‘clunkier’ and sensible option |

RE: 2023 Cascade
They should have a national fleet number scheme and save all of the endless renumbering and make the auditing process easier. But I guess with state of affairs are as they are, it will not happen under Arriva. |
