HMRC Furlough claims by bus companies
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...ion-scheme Arriva North West had staff on furlough for all 9 months (including August 2021) and were claiming sums of between £500k and £1m in Feb and Mar Warrington's Own Buses had staff on furlough for Jan/Feb/Mar. MP Travel had staff on furlough in Jan and Feb only. Like Arriva, D&G and Go Goodwins had staff on furlough for all 9 months. While not all staff are drivers, if operators had staff on furlough for 9 months, including one after things reopened, is that another reason why operators are losing drivers to other industries? |
