7671 was in service this evening, seen at around 18.20 on Lord Street. IIRC it was working the 13. Sounded dreadful.

This 7671 or 7665 should be the next Marshall that bites the dust, both are awful in all departments and must be amongst the worst buses arriva nw have on the road. |

By the 15 year rule of thumb, the Marshalls should be on there way out next year as should all V reg vehicles which should see significant orders for garages like Green Lane and St Helens and that will be something else interesting to look forward to! Depending upon how well the batch St Helens are to receive imminently perform, I wouldn't mind more Versas to replace the V reg vehicles but at the same time, I'd love to see some Streetlites.... Anyway, I'm off topic and remember that before this, some older vehicles will need to go and be replaced! |

When V reg does go, don't forget the V-DJCs, a rather big batch of buses, so it may be that the withdrawal of vehicles this age is spread over 2 years |

So really quite a lot of V platers overall. |
