Wednesday September 11th, is going to be fun, it's stage 5 of the Tour Of Britain cycle race starting & finishing in Birkenhead Park, the route is through most of the main roads in Wirral out to Cheshire & back, 22 & 38 be the most affected routes the disruption will be from 9am until around 4pm.

Probably a daft question but can I ask anyway, what happened to 15744 to result in it being stripped for parts, was it collision damage do you know and will 15747 & 15750 be returning to the area to ensure there are plenty of vehicles to give adequate provision for passenger transport.

From a friend, 27147, 27154, 27292 and 15590 have all turned up in the yard at Rock Ferry today, plus 27257 from Chester....whether they're staying I couldn't say but possibly related to the route changes from today.

Saw one heading through the tunnel out of Liverpool about 1500 or so, had 2 people on it

MAN 14.240/ADL Enviro200s 39690 & 39691 are both now shown as in Chester depot, going by bustime.org tracking

Solos 47081 & 47431 are both at Chester too from Rock Ferry.
