On Sunday, most services stop at St Helens Central.

We can see that but as St Helens Rider said it was made to look like ALL would stop at St Helens Central.

Another E.Mail to my local MP i think.

RE: TransPennine Express
Surely there is more possibility of congestion running via Earlestown given that by May, there could potentially be 6 passenger (not including Freight) trains per hour running through the area.

I worked at St Helens Cenral for a time when the last Scotland service stopped there. The 1700 ex LIV acted as a commuter train. Only problem was that their were so many complaints from long distance passengers that they could not access their reserved seats.

All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

There is always going to be complaints like that but when you got Services that could stop at a Station which is getting more and more Passengers its common sense for them to stop

Some common sense to prevent overcrowding , dont some TPX services miss Lancaster out as well for the same reasons

All trains seem to be shown 100mph dmu except for MIA-Scotland - although wierdly the two Edinburgh-Newcastle trains in the TAA have appeared as cl.3 ecs timed as 125mph electric services, so presumably IEP mileage accumulation or training?

Surprisingly some Liverpool-Scotch are via St. Helens, three stopping there, and others via Earlestown.

There is also ONE service from Liverpool to Oxenholme Lake District.
