FWIW, the fleetcard (uploading soon!) shows the following as off to London during P3 (4 weeks to 22nd July) 27701-7 27768-80. The other ADL Enviro300s should be departing soon I think. Carlisle's 24121/2, 34685-8 are reported to have gone to Merseyside, as have Lillyhall's 22610/1. |

Preston's 34619 is also out, on the 20/21.Also on the 21 today was PX04 HTU (34617). For the record, 24121 is PX59 AZJ and 34619 is PX04 HTY. 34686 was on the 82 today, and 34617 on the 53. 34617 ran O.K. on good bits of road, but on imperfect road sections, it sounded as if anything that could "rattle" was doing so. |

They are on loan from Cumbria for the Olympics. Were supposed to be coming to Manchester until a last minute change of plan. |

Much as some people in Merseyside have moaned about the lack of double deckers on some routes, the bosses do seem keen to focus on single deckers. It might suit Cumbria to get rid, with their new fleet arriving after the Olympics. |

RE: Stagecoach Merseyside - Gillmoss Depot
MY&SL aren't getting anything off C&NL post-Olympics, if anything, its your stuff that will be heading north! Both cumbria09 and I have said it once and I'll say it again: the numbers just don't justify deckers, otherwise you'd have them. Gillmoss is the jewel of the MY&SL crown, so its not like it has to come second to Preston.... |
