Ive heard the 42** that are in speke are going too but unsure if withdrawing them or moving them on.

Im guessing they are keeping the solos due to the way the 30 route takes up in chain lane going around paisley avenue due to the way residents park there cars as its quite tight round there sometimes.
The only other route they are suited for is the 35 other than that the other routes could do with larger buses.

Also helps that Bangor no longer want them, as the example received was seen as unpractical for the Bangor operating network

Are Birkenhead getting any cascaded deckers? The VLWs and Presidents in their fleet will be 16 years old this year so won't they need replacing

The ex. London deckers that are down to leave the fleet soon are 4161, 4162, 4163, 4164, 4167 (already gone), 4168, 4171 (already gone), 4181, 4182, 4200, 4201, 4202, 4203, 4205, 4206, 4208, 4209 & 4215. Bootle are to get 4177, 4207 & 4211 from Speke, 4176 is going to Birkenhead. 4204 is staying for a bit longer due to its livery.

Speke are to get 4800-4823 with 4824-4850 going to Green Lane.
