I am not sure Birkenhead needs an extra solo unless a solo is being used as a staff bus moving people back and forward to the depot whilst the bus replacement work is taking place , rather than the buses themselves going back and forth.

Still got 2705, 2706, 2707, 2708, 2710, 2712, 2714, 2715, 2716, 2720, 2719, 2729 and 2730, They will probs been replaced by Cascades after the Rail Replacements

Thanks as always for the info. So a possible 13 replacements coming...i did see something on here that maybe the optares may be departing also..what could be replacing these

They should be replaced by Pulsars from Green Lane once the hybrids enter service. Mid to late February was the last I heard

That's not correct

2705-8/10 are taxed until the end of this month
2711-4 and 2727 are taxed until the end of March
2715-7/9 are taxed until the end of April
2720/3/6/8/9/30 are taxed until the end of May

If they're still needed then they will be retaxed because Arriva will get the balance of the remaining tax back once they have sold the vehicles anyway

Also - the MoT history for public service vehicles is not available

Pulsars from Green Lane, Commanders and Deckers from Speke
