RE: First Manchester
Route 18 is apparently to be withdrawn between the City Centre and the MRI for a total of 6 weeks as First see it as not worth the battle with planned road closures. --- Thanks Ant Check out my YouTube Channel updated regularly at 18:00 Most Days; https://www.youtube.com/c/apdmediatransp...nel/videos Check out my content on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter/albums Updated recently with a trip down to the South Coast in 2021 & Railway Pictures from 2017. |

RE: First Manchester
New Vantage route V3 to be launched in January it will be V3 Leigh-MRI, It will go like a V1 to John Dalton Street, then carry on across princess street, right whitworth street, left Oxford road then it will pass where the 18 turns into the hospital and take the next left into Hathersage road (Poundland on the corner) then left into the hospital grounds and terminate opposite the 18 stand. Then it'll leave nelson street and right back onto Oxford road (basically leaves the opposite way the 18 comes into the hospital). The above info courtesy of a Vantage Driver I know. |

Its normally the 4th weekend in January, but it could have gone back a week with Easter being relatively late next year. Not just a late Easter, but also having 5 Sundays in January. Shudehill originally opened similarly on Sunday January 29th in 2006. |

Rosso could thus expand accordingly. |

I only ask as I'm sure that the only depot with space that could accomodate Bury's Bendy fleet would be Bolton and unless 135 moves to Bolton I can't see what route/s Bolton could use them on and whoever gets 135 will need extra deckers unless deckers get sourced from other divisions. Maybe, if the bendis have to move to Bolton and cannot be accommodated at Queen's Road, they will convert route 471 and route 135 converted to full Volvo B9TL operation. |
