Forgot to mention that, sadly, the 16 will be cancelled. The service is becoming popular, but it's been decided that it's to be de-registered. Sad, because it's a good service.

It was very popular when I had it! Even between Seacombe and Birkenhead, 2031 Was full, So spare seats!

In my opinion, the service wasn't given long enough to be noticed and used. It was certainly popular on the first Saturday that it run as the driver took just over £14.00 (and plenty of passes) on one round-trip (11:50 departure from Harrison Drive)!

It's been said that the service may return in the future. If so, I suggest that the service starts at Marine Point Retail and Leisure Park and runs to Harrison Drive, then heads to Grove Road (and then as usual to Birkenhead Bus Station from there) via Wallasey Village Merseyrail Station, rather than running via the tight bridge on Green Lane and back and forth to the roundabout on Wallasey Village. Not sure if it'd work, though.
