Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
When I said 5 year old, I didn't have time to check the fleetlist for the exact age. Still I was in the right ball park.

sorry then 4 and half but they are absolute heaps i dont see a point in them..Leicester run former London VLW's and there 12 years old and run better than better some 4 and half year old buses. says a lot doesn't it same old Wrexham we always get cast offs from other depots that are absolute S**T heaps ive been on 4421/22 and they are amazing compared to 4402-10 says a lot doesn't it send Wrexham the worse ones for such a promoting service says a lot to when drivers say they'd rather a 51 plated transbus dart all day than one of the Tridents really does say a lot doesn't it i live in Wrexham i have to cope with them and travel on them near enough all the time i NEVER EVER broke down on a DLA (S-REG) on route 1 but most of the time im on the 1 with these sapphires were breaking down left, right and center. stop trying to defend something when even the Depot wants rid of them.

Send them to Liverpool then, where they will be much better utilised on far busier services.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

Should have never been sent Wrexham in the first place. The pulsars were fine and could be utilised on routes like the X94

I don't think we are wrong in defending them, the fact is that the enviro 400's left on Merseyside do not have the reliability issues that the ones based in Wales do.

As it has been said before, the ones at Bootle are fine, the 2 left at Laird Street are fine, when they were all at Laird Street (4400-22) they worked well. Maybe change some buses around and send over 9 Pulsars and send the Enviros over to Liverpool, they will be very much welcomed here.

Send the enviro's to Bangor then they would do expecially on Morning and mid afternoon and evening services, commander and cadets are too small for 62's

They had some issues at LS as they often ended up in safe mode, but nothing like the persistent issues Wrexham have. If it's electrics as I think was reported, it probaby is something to do with the refurb. I'd happily see them back in birkenhead instead of the hybrids.

in regards to those who are complaing the reasons could be

a) Fault after refurb has commenced, remember this was the first route launched or sapphire
b) Have the mechanics had proper training for this type of vechile

We really cannot compare i.e. routes in Liverpool and Wrexham, it would be wrong in doing so, as the wear and tear in these in Wrexham will be a lot higher, the buses are out all day.
