After months of various Solo's and even an MPD last week, the 17B today was a Sprinter. Thought the use of these on there had ceased now that the service is a Quality Partnership. |

Unfortunately the Sprinter was the only bus available for the service at the time as the Solo allocated was booked off with a fault. SN05 HDF was meant to replace it later on in the day (and did make it to St Helens) but had a fault that required it to return to the depot. The 17B does have V980 XUB as a regular allocation but this is getting work at the moment, J8 HTL and KP63 RHE have been on the service at least last week along with YD63 VCA and YJ13 HJV so Sprinters are extremely unusual now as a rule.
