Although, 10:02 Chester to Piccadilly set to be withdrawn again from 14/9 with the unit(s) off the 08:18 Stockport to Chester instead going in to the sidings at Chester until the afternoon in time to be used for the reinstated 16:02 Chester to Piccadilly and 17:40 Piccadilly to Chester. Also 08:18 Stockport to Chester set to start from Piccadilly from the 14/9 instead of running ECS from Piccadilly, which obviously makes sense.

Mid-Cheshire and Leeds-Chester services to remain 2 hourly at off-peak times from 14/9 with the Leeds departures departing even hours from Chester e.g. 10:25, 12:25 and Manchester via Altrincham departures departing odd hours e.g. 09:02, 11:02.

In the hours that Leeds services don't start from Chester, they call at all stations to Rochdale instead.

Thank you, the cheaper advance fares now appear to be put up also.

Is it just me that experiences slow loading the with Northern website with it crashing during purchasing train tickets?

Local Lib Dem councilors have contracted West Coast trains to provide a Rose Hill Marple to Piccadilly shuttle for one week, once the Northern service ceases on 14th September.

Surely it must cost a lot of money to run such a service so you would be relying on a lot of passengers or a lot of subsidy to make it work. If it's the latter, how do the local LibDems have so much money?
