I know where your coming from but i would rather have an older Bus thats well looked after (and a decent Price to travel on) than a newer one thats just not as Reliable, I know where your coming from with its age but i just dont see why its age should matter

I agree with the reliability aspect and so on, but most solo's have a hard life, these will be no exception. The days of the buses of this size still being used for service are almost gone. Let's face it, how many of these buses at this age do you now see, not many is the answer.

What engines are in these? Can imagine them being pretty tired at 15 years old..

Not sure on what Engines they have, Just coz a Bus is 15 Year old does not mean its tired if its well looked after, take HTL's V980 XUB for example and the not so long ago withdrawn Eazibus T421 OUB for another example

V980XUB used to be really slow and a really poor performer before it got a new engine and it's turbo blew
T421OUB was far from perfect before arriving at Cumfybus to say the least.

They will have the mercedes engines with the Allison gearbox as per other Nottingham examples of that era that have been in service with Merseyside operators HTL, Cumfybus and A2B.
