Interesting. I'll look out for that one.

At Keswick today were Stagecoach Ribble 19038 on the X8 (Chorley/Preston to Keswick) which arrived around 1pm and parked on the coach park. Stagecoach Cumbria & NL vehicles were 15725, 15728 (golakestravel.co.uk rear ad), 15729 (K Village rear advert) on the 555; 53336/8 on the X4/5 (Penrith-Workington) together with 35246 working the Workington to Keswick short workings. 47721/2 were on the 77/77A; 34717 was on the 86 to Portinscale; 18357 (554 branded Trident) was on the 78 to Seatoller. Solo 47474 was present but was not displaying any route info.
Reays Open top Olympian R650 HYG was working the competing 555R service.
Apologies for adding non Stagecoach C&NL info, but it added to the picture in this instance.

47474 is the usual bus on the Saturday only service 73, the Caldbeck Rambler, which has a break in Keswick from 1.30pm.
If 18357 was on the 78, the open top Tridents 17217 and 17277 must be out of service again. 34717 would have been replacing 18357 as the 86 to Portinscale is linked with the 554.

Thanks for the explanation. 47474 was carrying no route info at all, even when it was seen arriving in Keswick (from Penrith/south) direction at 1.35pm.

47753 was back in service at Carlisle today and was on the 93 and 38 Stoneraise School services.

There were two Darts on the 79/179 Annan/Dumfries services - 34681/2 - and two of the Enviro300s were missing - 24116 and 24118. I have not seen 24118 for a while and wonder if it has gone for repaint as 24117 has returned freshly painted (and without any branding - the 79/179 branding has also been removed from its rear window).

Another Enviro300, 24122, was on the 685 Newcastle along with spare coach 52629 - the two regular coaches for this service, 52626/7 were both missing.

Olympian 16650 was on the 91 Caldew School and 104 from Penrith while one of the regulars for this run, 18365, was on the 61/61A city service all day.

Reserve B10M 20960 has been out again recently and today was on the 300 Workington and 0940/1340 600 Cockermouth journeys. Last Wednesday I saw this bus on the 79 Dumfries. Reserve MAN 22160 was on the 60 city service today.

As well as 24117 losing its route branding, many of the Darts have lost theirs and I think the only ones left are 34689-93 for the 61/61A; 34696-99 for the 62; 34708/09 for the 67/68 and 34712-14 for the 76. One or two had the branding removed after repaint (like 34711) but quite a number have had it roughly removed (like 34710).

R874ERE wrote that open topper 16294 left The Wirral on the 3rd July for Scotland. It had been operating on the free local service 15 in New Brighton still in green with Lakeland names. Perhaps it is now in Lochaber.

Seems to be one of the new deckers for 300 (Whitehavel-Carlisle) leaving the ADL factory at Falkirk yesterday. Unregistered but trade plate 208 RN.

That one is one of Cambridge's. All of Lillyhall's are safely tucked away waiting for branding this week (tomorrow I think) before their launch events next week (Wednesday at Workington Bus Station, Thursday at Carlisle Bus Station), before entering service first thing on Monday 5th August. Still waiting for the service to appear on the Stagecoach Gold website.
